EU Blue Card rules are revised for qualifications and intra-EU mobility

Law 2025-391 transposed the revised EU Blue Card framework from 3 May 2025. Current French rules include a contract of at least six months, the statutory qualification or experience test, the route salary threshold and facilitated mobility for qualifying Blue Card holders from another participating member state. It did not create a blanket right to start every French job 30 days before a permit is issued.
