A qualifying CSEP holder whose two-year permit and immigration registration are expiring can apply directly to the Department of Justice for Stamp 4 without renewing the employment permit; a DETE support letter is no longer required. Stamp 4 is renewable permission to work without an employment permit, not automatic citizenship or an unconditional permanent status.
