Startups Law creates the international teleworker route

Ley 28/2022 added the international teleworker visa and residence authorisation to Ley 14/2013. The route covers qualifying remote employees of foreign organisations and qualifying self-employed professionals, for whom work with Spanish clients is limited to 20% of total professional activity. Applicants must meet professional-experience or qualification, social-security, financial-means, insurance and other statutory requirements; nationality-specific consular instructions can affect evidence.
