On 26 June 2026 Eskom reported 406 consecutive days without national load-shedding since 16 May 2025, after only 26 hours of load-shedding across four days in April and May 2025. This is a major reliability improvement, but local load reduction and network faults remain separate risks and future national supply cannot be guaranteed.
