The Cabinet-approved Revised White Paper on Citizenship, Immigration and Refugee Protection proposes major future legislation, including consolidating General and Critical Skills visas into a skilled-worker visa, changing business and retirement routes, and expanding digital adjudication. These are policy proposals and do not themselves replace the current Immigration Act, regulations or visa categories.
