Care-worker and senior-care-worker occupation codes 6135 and 6136 are no longer open to new overseas entry applications. The codes remain available for specified in-country switching, extension and update cases, including a three-month prior-employment condition for some switchers. Dependant restrictions introduced in March 2024 also continue.

Adult-social-care employers, overseas applicants and existing sponsored care workers.
