Québec PSTQ invitations replace the former PRTQ

The Programme de sélection des travailleurs qualifiés replaced the PRTQ on 29 November 2024 and began invitations in July 2025. Candidates submit an Arrima expression of interest and may be invited under one of four streams based on the applicable criteria and scoring, including French and occupation requirements. A declaration of interest is not an application or guarantee of invitation, and Québec selection is followed by federal permanent-residence processing.
