Private-sector minimum wage rises to EGP7,000 per month

The National Council for Wages raised Egypt's private-sector minimum wage to EGP7,000 per month from 1 March 2025. The former record incorrectly gave a July effective date and described the measure as a single national rule without distinguishing the private sector from the separate public-sector budget measure.
