New CIES adds a qualifying family-investment holding option

The New Capital Investment Entrant Scheme continues to require HK$30 million of net assets and HK$30 million of investment under the scheme. From 1 March 2026, an applicant may hold permissible financial assets through a wholly owned qualifying Hong Kong family investment holding vehicle or special-purpose entity when the published operating and asset-management conditions are met.
