Foreign individuals register for RFC when required for economic activity

SAT’s current procedure allows foreign individuals to register for the RFC when they need registration, including for economic activity. It is free and normally requires a current immigration document, proof of address and identification; the filing deadline is generally within one month after activities begin or registration becomes necessary.
Who it affects
Foreign residents or non-residents beginning taxable or registered economic activity in Mexico.
