A temporary resident who wishes to perform paid work must hold or obtain the relevant permission. INM’s current procedure requires a valid temporary-resident card, fees and either a qualifying employer letter or, for independent activity, a declaration and RFC evidence. A student temporary resident has narrower employment conditions.
