Investment Charter support mechanisms enter operation

Framework Law 03-22 established Morocco's Investment Charter, and implementing Decree 2-23-1 was published on 2 March 2023. The decree governs the principal investment-support mechanism and the mechanism for projects designated strategic. National commission approval applies to projects of at least MAD250 million, while projects of at least MAD2 billion may be considered strategic against the decree's criteria. Incentives and approval are conditional, not automatic residence or tax entitlements.
