Family sponsorship uses an AED 4,000 or housing-adjusted income test

A resident can generally sponsor eligible family with at least AED 4,000 monthly income, or AED 3,000 plus employer-provided accommodation. The profession is not the controlling test. Relationship, accommodation, medical fitness for adults and sponsor-status requirements also apply, and a dependant’s permit cannot outlast the sponsor’s.
