The renewable five-year Green Residency covers skilled workers, freelancers or self-employed people, and investors or business partners. Skilled workers need a UAE contract, occupational level 1 to 3, a bachelor’s degree and at least AED 15,000 monthly salary. Freelancers need the permit and qualification plus AED 360,000 income over the previous two years or qualifying solvency.
