Investor residence thresholds derive from the 2017 and 2018 CNIG resolutions

CNIG Resolution 13/2017 sets a general BRL500,000 productive-investment threshold and allows qualifying innovation, scientific or technology projects between BRL150,000 and BRL500,000. Resolution 36/2018 covers real-estate investment: current consular guidance states BRL1,000,000 generally or BRL700,000 in the North and Northeast. No official 2024 threshold update matching the former record was found.
