Expatriate car-import initiative reopened for three months and has since closed

Law 174/2023 reopened the Cars of Egyptians Abroad initiative for three months from late October 2023. The temporary concession allowed eligible Egyptians resident abroad to import one personal car under its foreign-currency deposit and procedural conditions. It was not a permanent residence or return programme and is no longer open to new registrations.
