GAFI launches the Golden Licence electronic application platform

The General Authority for Investment and Free Zones launched an electronic platform for Golden Licence applications on 27 November 2023. The licence is a single approval for establishing, operating and managing a qualifying project, including the necessary building permits and allocation of state-owned property. The former record's unsupported claims of automatic tax holidays and customs exemptions have been removed.
