Executive order designates English as the official language

Executive Order 14224 designated English as the official language of the United States and revoked Executive Order 13166. It does not itself require agencies to stop offering documents or services in other languages; agency heads retain discretion over language access consistent with law. The country brief no longer describes the United States as having no federal official language.
